My long rest has ended! ⏾
The forges of Common Lands fires have been reignited ❤️🔥
I took a year off from creative to reflect on why I design and play tabletop games. I've always been driven by wanting to give back to the community that has given me so much over the last 30 years of my life. I previously believed that if I could give back by making my own original content, that I could make games for the people who also love games, while also making a little extra pocket change on the side. Somewhere along the journey, I saw how much money comes first for so many people in this community, and it opened my eyes...I don't want to do that.
All I want to do is share my games with people who like telling stories. I want to be able to give my content to the community in the manner in which most of it was given - FREE.
From this point forward, all digital content from The Common Lands will be available for free on my website 🧭📚. If you want to explore the world, run the adventures, read the lore, or just see what I’ve been building — it’s yours. The stories, friends, and honestly, the baked snacks, have all contributing factors to my decision, but the no-money-fun has always been the more impactful selling point for me with tabletop games.
The first major release under this new approach is my newest campaign: The Astral Harmonic! ✨🪐
Before the end of March 2026, there will be a relaunch of the WANDERVERSE tabletop on Kickstarter with a FREE pdf option.
For those who prefer something physical, or are just old collectors like myself, I am offering printed copies of all hardcover books priced only to cover printing, production, and shipping costs 📖.
